June 12~ 1973 <br /> <br /> M~tion of Mr. Smith and seconded by Mr. Holley, to <br />permission for Webb Organization to hold a concert on a <br />the lines recommended by the Recreation Commission, was <br /> <br />instruct the City Manager to grant <br />trial basis in the stadium, along <br />adopted by the f~ew~ing vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Early, Holley, Johnson, King, Smith, Wentz <br />Barnes <br /> <br /> 73-246 Motinn of Mr. Johnson and seconded by Mr. Smith, the pr~posed ordinance to <br />provide for certain real estate tax relief for the elderly, to be referred to the Municips <br />Finance Commission for study and report back to Council, was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 73-248 Motion of Mr. Johnson and seconded by Mr. Holley, that the Council of <br />City of Portsmouth meet in an executive session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, the 2Sth of <br />June, 1973, in the Council conference room for the purpose of: <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />1. The dicussion of appointments by the City Council; <br /> <br />2. The discussion or consideration of the acquisition of real property <br /> and of the disposition of surplus City property; <br /> <br />3. The discussion of propppective businesses or industries; <br /> <br />4. Consultation with legal counsel and briefing by staff members <br /> pertaining to legal matters; <br /> <br />was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />Motion to adjnurn by Mr. Johnson and seconded by Mr. Smith,at 12:45 a.m. <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
