<br /> The $890,000 shown in the Operating and Maintenance for Public Safety are the same
<br />monies shown in the revenue estimate for the General Operating Budget for 1974-75. The
<br />$90,000.~for Public Transportation is the $7,500 per month subsidy currently being paid
<br />the Community. Motor Bus Company, which brings the total for Operating and Maintenance
<br />from Entitlement V to $980,000.

<br /> Planned uses under Capital Expenditures for Entitlement V are $100,000 for the swimminl
<br />pool in Southside, $75,000 in multi-purpose and general government equipment, and $1,658,4~
<br />for curbs, gutters, drainage, and street improvements. The total Planned Capital Expendi-
<br />tures in this report is $1,855,407.
<br />
<br /> The Finance Commission held a Public Hearing on February 4, 1974 for the planned uses
<br />of Entitlement V Revenue Sharing Funds. Attached is a copy of the requests made by the
<br />citizens at the Public Hearing. You will note on page 3 that total requests in the amount
<br />of $2,971,976 were received from the citizens, of which $1,673,980 was requested for drain
<br />age, curbs and gutters.
