<br />ficate of Conformance for Public Financial Reporting" awarded by the Municipal Finance
<br />Officers Association of the United States and Canada.

<br />The following agenda items were presented by the City Manager:

<br /> 74-331 - "Bids were opened July 31, 1974 for installation of sanitary sewers on Elm-
<br />burst Lane (extended). These sewers will serve the area generally between GEX and the Na~
<br />tional Guard Armory. The major customen will be the proposed regional hospital laundry
<br />facility which xs projected to generate substantial wastewater utility revenues.

<br /> There were six bids as follows on the "Alternate B" "truss pipe" which was the most
<br />economical alternate:

<br /> I recommend that the contract be awarded to the iow bidder and that
<br />be authorized to execute the necessary contract documents.

<br /> It is requested that $101,000 be appropriated from the Capital Improvement Fund to
<br />cover the cost of construction, engineering, inspection and contingencies. This appropri~
<br />will be funded from unallocated Public Utility Bond proceeds. The estimated time for comp
<br />tion of this project is 120 days.'

<br />Corporation, being iow bidder, and the City Manager be authorized to execute necessary
<br />contract documents, was adopted by ~he following vote:

<br /> 74-332 - "Ordinance on first reading to appropriate $7,111.61 from the General Fund
<br />for the design and construction of ramps for the handicapped for. the Cradock Branch and
<br />the Main Libraries.
<br />
<br /> This appropriation is being funded from the Revenue Sharing Funds that were pre-
<br />viously appropriated for the furnishing of the Cradock Branch and the construction of
<br />the ramps. The old appropriation expired on June 30, 1974. This is a reappropriation
<br />of the balance of the funds for the ramps. This is an initial installation of ramps for
<br />handicapped which will be subsequently recommended to serve other municipal facilities."
