<br /> 74-510 (4) - The following ordinance, approved on first reading at Public Hearing
<br />meeting, December 16, 1974, was taken up and read:

<br />"AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, BY
<br />AMENDING SECTION 40-79 OF SAID CODE PERTAINING TO USES PERMITTED WITHIN RESI-
<br />DENTIAL R-60-A DISTRICT."

<br /> On motion of Mr. Wentz and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the ordinance was adopted, and by
<br />the following vote:
<br />
<br />Ayes: Barnes, Early, Elliott, Holley, Oast, Wentz, Davis
<br />Nays: None
<br />
<br /> 74-525 - The following ordinance, approved on first reading at last regular meeting,
<br />was taken up and read:

<br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $100,000 FROM THE GENERAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
<br />FUND FOR REPAIRS OF THE BULKHEAD ADJACENT TO CRAWFORD PARKWAY.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Mr. Wentz and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the ordinance was adopted, and by
<br />the following vote:

<br /> Motion of Mr. Wentz and seconded by Mr. Barnes, that the contract to be awarded to

<br /> 74-526 - The following ordinance, approved on first reading at last regular meeting,
<br />was taken up and read:

<br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE S15,150 fROM tHE GENERAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND
<br />FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS SOUTH OF VIGTORY BOULEVARD NEAR FRANCIS STREET."

<br /> On motion of Mr. Wentz and seconded by Mr. Barnes, the ordinance was adopted, and by
<br />the following vote:

<br />FUND IN THE CATEGORY OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS FOR COMPLETION OF CURB AND GUTTER
<br />AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO CITY PARK AVENUE."
