May 11,1999 <br /> <br />1. Helen M. Person, 1314 Green Street, Washington Park, spoke on the <br /> relocation of residents during remediation. She also spoke on water turned-off <br /> without notice, street light knocked down by a truck, telephone pole knocked down <br /> by a truck, and gas bills higher than ever due to construction around gas meters. <br /> <br /> Steve Peacock, 329 North Street Apt. 5, spoke on a judgment against him in 1978 <br /> for an accident that occurred in 1974. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Griffin, and seconded by Mr. Robinett, to change the rules of order to <br /> allow Mr. COpeland an additional three minutes to speak, and was adopted by <br /> unanimous vote. <br /> <br />3. William E. Copeland, 2107 Staunton Avenue, requested consideration to restore <br /> Mayor's Health Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />4. Louis Whitehead, 4415 County Street, spoke on residents cutting grass and blowing <br /> it into the street. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Berm, and seconded by Mr. Moody, tO change the rules of order to <br /> allow Ms. Barba an additional two minutes to speak, and was adopted by unanimous <br /> vote. <br /> <br />5. Karen Barba, 14 Connor Place, spoke on Cradock High School Gymnasium and use <br /> of same for community and recreation use rather than the present use for storage. <br /> <br />6. Mary E.
