<br /> The following reports from the City Manager were presented:

<br /> 76-112 - "Consideration of an ordinance on first reading to appropriate $14,500 in the
<br />Federal Grants Fund for the operation of Summer Day Camp.
<br />
<br /> This appropriation will provide the necessary funds to operate a 6-week Day Camp for
<br />handicapped individuals under the age of 19 at City Park. Services to be provided include
<br />recreation, transportation and lunches. There are $11,409 of Federal funds and $3,091 in loca
<br />cash match which has previously been appropriated in the Recreation Department budget for
<br />1~75-76. The City Manager recommends adoption on first reading.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the following ordinance was
<br />on first reading, and by unanimous vote:

<br />Facilities and Economic Development Fund.
<br />
<br />This appropriation will provide the necessary funds to make the first debt service paymem
<br />
<br />on the port facility~bonds which were issued for the Sea-Land project, November 1, 1975. The
<br />funds necessary to make this paym~gt h~ve been received from Sea-Land Services, Inc., under
<br />the lease to make the first interest payment authorized by this appropriation. The City Manag{
<br />recommends adoption on first reading."

<br /> On motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Early, the following ordinance was approved
