Saunders Early, Jr., Archie Elliott, Jr., James W. Halley, <br /> Robert W. Wentz, Jr., R. T. WilliRms, City Manager, C. H. McGinnis, Assistant <br /> City Manager, Gordon B. Tayloe, Jr., City Attorney. <br /> Absent: Richard J. Davis, Edward L. Oast, Jr. <br /> Rev. Rhodes M. Artz, Pastor, Park View Christian Church, opened the meeting with <br />prayer, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Robert W. Wentz, Jr., presided in the absence of Mayor Richard J. Davis, <br />and welcomed all visitors in attendance. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Elliott, minutes of the regu~a_~ r meeting of <br />March 23, 1976, to be approved as received was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />- UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br /> 76-112 The following ordinance approved on first reading at the regular meeting of <br />March 25, 1976, was.taken up and read: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE ~14,500 FROM THE FEDERAL GRANTS FUND FOR <br />OPERATION OF A SUMMER DAY CAMP. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. <br />the following vote: <br /> <br /> Elliott and seconded by Mr. Holley, the ordinance was adopted, and by <br /> <br />Ayes: Barnes, Early, Elliott, Holley,,Wentz <br />Nays: None ~ -'~ \.'~ \ <br /> <br /> 76-I13 The following ordinance approved on first reading'~at the regular meeting of <br />March 23, 1976, was taken up and read: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $320,901.76 FROM THE PORT FACILITY AND <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR PAYMENT OF DEBT SERVICE ON PORT FACILITY <br />BONDS." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the ordinance was adopted, and by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Barnes, Early, Elliott, Holley, Wentz <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 76-114 - The following ordinance approved on first reading at the regular meeting of <br />March 23, 1976, was taken up and read: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $44,250 FROM THE GENERAL R~VENUE SHARING TRUST <br />FUND IN THE CATEGORY OF GENERAL AND MULTI-PURPOSE EQUIPMENT." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the ordinance was adopted, and by <br />the following vote:. <br /> <br />Ayes: Barnes, Early, Elliott, Holley, Wentz <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 76-115 - The following ordinance approved on first reading at the regular meeting of <br />March 23, 1976,, was taken up and readT <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $44,2 S0 FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR PURCHASE <br />OF GENERAL AND FfULTI-PURPOSE EQUIPMENT." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr~ Elliott, the ordinance was adopted, and by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Barnes, Early, Elliott, Holley, Wentz <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 76-116 The following ordinance approved on first reading at the regular meeting of <br />March 23, 1976, was taken up and read: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE g85,000 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND <br />FOR REPAIRS AND TO PURCHASE BAFFLES FOR THE INCINERATOR." <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the ordinance was adopted, and by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Barnes, Early, Elliott, Holley, Wentz <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> <br />
