<br /> 76-242 - "Consideration of an ordinance closing a portion of London Boulevard.
<br /> This ordinance will close a portion of London Be~levard extending approximately SSS feet
<br />east to the southern branch of the Elizabeth River {rom its intersection of Wgter Street; and,
<br />having a right-of-way o£ approximately 60 feet. The City of Pcrtsmouth petitioned for this
<br />closure. A resolution appointing viewers was adopted on June 8, 1976. A copy of their report
<br />is attached for your information. City Manager recommends adoption."

<br /> 76-243 "Consideration ~f.~n ordinance to amend the City Code pertaining to permits and
<br /> fees for private use of the City swimming pools.
<br /> This amendment will establish regulations concerning permits, fees, indemnity, control,
<br />and maintenance of the premises for those persons wishing to use the swimming pools. Fees
<br />charged for a permit will be payable in advance for the rental of City-owned swimming pools
<br />through the Parks and Recreation Department. The recommended fees shall be $50 per 2 hours or
<br />fraction thereof for SO or less people; and .$75 per 2 hours or fraction thereof for more than
<br />SO people, up to the capacity of the individual pool. This ordinance will permit the Parks
<br />~and Recreation Department to rent for private use City swimming pools after regular operating
<br />
<br />hours. The City Manager recommends adoption."
