<br />The Boundary and Acquisition exhibit is being revised to redesignate a portion of the
<br />property of the Seawall Inn from "Not-To-Be Acquired" to "To-Be~Acquired". This small
<br />strip of property will be needed in conjunction with the proposed reconstruction of the
<br />Water Street right-of-way.
<br />
<br />The propsoed use of a portion Of land between the Holiday Inn and the Citizens Trust
<br />Bank Building has been redesignated from "Commercial" to 'Public Facilities and Open
<br />Space" to reflect the construction of the North Harbor and a parking facility in this
<br />area.
<br />
<br />The prope~ed use of the surface parking lot of the existing Citizens Trust Bank Building
<br />is being redesignated from "Commercial" to "Public Parking and Commercial" to reflect
<br />the proposed private and public uses to be developed on air rights over this existing
<br />lot.

<br />The proposed use of the area generally between the Seawall Inn and the southern project
<br />boundary east of Water Street is being redesignated from "Public" to "Commercial".
<br />Accordingly, the redevelopment plan narrative is being revised to permit a multi-use
<br />complex o~ ~esidential, commercial, office and governmental uses in this area as en-
<br />visioned by the Crawford Harbor Plan.
<br />
<br />The proposed land uses for the Crawford Project in District A are also being revised
<br />to reflect the closure and realignment of several existing rights-of-way in the area
<br />in accordance with the new uses envisioned in the Crawford Ha~bor Ptan.
<br />The most significant of these is the proposed widening and realignment of the Water
<br />Street right-of-way.

<br />
<br />The Boundary and Acquisition exhibit is being revised to redesignate two parcels of
<br />land in the southern portion of the Froject from "To-Be-Acquired" to "Not-To-Be-Acquired"
<br />since these sites will be needed for the construction of the second tunnel in Norfolk.
<br />The land use of this property, aportion of which was previously included in the South-
<br />side II light-industrial area, is also being revised from commercial to light-industrial
<br />to reflect its current proposed use.

<br />The designation of parcel numbers and lot lines of proposed development sites has been
<br />eliminated from the land use plan in order to facilitate the combining of lots as re-
<br />quired from time to time for marketing purposes.'

<br /> Purvis H. Richardson, Sr., 2607 Evergreen Place, spoke against the waterfront developmen~
<br />as his area had not been supplied with curbs and gutters.
<br />

<br />MAJOR OFFENDER PROGRAM WITHIN THE OFFICE OF THE COMMONWEALTH ATTORNEY."
