Barnes, E, Saunders Early, Jr., Archie Elliot,, Jr., <br />James W. Holley, Edward L. Oast, Jr.; Robert W. Wentz, Jr., Rober~ T. Williams, <br />City Manager, ~don B. Tayloe, Jr., City Attorney. <br /> <br /> Rev. Dale Diggs, Pastor, First Friends Church, opened the meeting with prayer, followed <br />by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. wentz and seconded by Mr. Early, minutes of <br />28, 1978 and minutes of the regular meeting of March 28, 1978, <br />and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />the called meeting of March <br />to be approved as received, <br /> <br /> Mayor Davis welcomed all visitors in attendance; recognizing Mrs. Margaret Davis, Teacher <br />and students, 7th Grade Social Studies, Churchland Jr. High School, Girl Scout Troop 53, <br />Churchland, and Boy Scout Troop 19, Simonsdale Presbyternian Church. <br /> <br /> 78-118 - Mayor Davi~ presented Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. William A. Copeland, <br />Jr., comm~nding him for Services on the Social Services Advisory Commission and Highway Safety <br />Commission. <br /> <br /> 78-119 T.E. This project is included in the City's 1977-78 Capital Improve <br />ments Program and will be funded from general obligation bonds. The City Manager recommends <br />adoption on first reading." <br /> <br /> <br />
