<br />The following reports from th City~Mapage~.w~e presented:
<br />
<br /> 78-147 "Consideration of an ordinance on first reading to appropriate funds necess~ry
<br />for operation of the City Government for and during the Fiscal Year beginning July 1~ 1978 and
<br />ending on June 30, 1979.
<br />
<br /> This appropriation will provide the necessary funds for the operation of the City for
<br />Fiscal Year 1978-79. On April 2Sth, 1978, a public conference on the budget was held in which
<br />the City Manager briefed the Council as to his recommendations for the proposed operating budget
<br />for Fiscal Year 1978-79. The proposed ordinance reflects the diszussions that took place in
<br />reference to such budget. Included ~s a letter from the Municipal Finance Commission outlining
<br />their recommendation that the proposed ordinance be adopted. The City Manager recommends
<br />adoption on first reading. ~
