ORDINANCE NO. 2026-59 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $59,498.61 FROM THE WESTERN TIDEWATER <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES BOARD AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN <br />THE FY 2026 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICE FUND FOR USE BY BHS <br />FOR DATA SYSTEM MODERNIZATION. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it accepts $59,498.61 from the Western Tidewater Community <br />Services Board and appropriates said amount in the FY 2026 Behavioral Healthcare <br />Service Fund Budget. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services for eligible data modernization costs. <br />3. That, to the extent not expended, the funds shall be deemed reappropriated <br />into the Behavioral Healthcare Service Fund budget annually until expended in their <br />entirety or recaptured by the granting agency. <br />4. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />5. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2026 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund Budget are increased by $59,498.61. <br />6. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on May 26, 2026. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
