or by posting on the property. Violations of this section that are not timely corrected <br />shall be punishable by a fine of $100.00 per occurrence. <br />Sec. 16-40. Special pickup for moving. <br />Special collection will be provided by the department of public works for residents <br />either moving into or vacating a dwelling. In order to arrange such service, a 24-hour notice <br />must be given to the waste management division of the department of public works_ of the <br />city. Residents must separate bulk refuse from other garbage and trash. <br />DIVISION 2. CHARGES <br />Sec. 16-66. Rates for automated containers in the downtown commercial business <br />district. <br />(a) The downtown commercial business district shall be defined as the area north of <br />Interstate 264, south of London Boulevard, east of Elm Avenue, and west of the <br />Elizabeth River's Southern Branch. <br />(b) Where garbage and refuse are stored in automated 95 -gallon refuse containers in the <br />downtown commercial business district, the monthly rate charged for service shall be <br />as set out in Appendix A to this Code and any subsequent amendments thereto. <br />(c) For each additional pick-up, a charge shall be assessed, as set out in Appendix A to <br />this Code. <br />2.
