ORDINANCE NO. 2026-63 <br /> AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN ARTICLE IX (STOPPING, <br /> STANDING AND PARKING) OF CHAPTER 22 (MOTOR VEHICLES AND <br /> TRAFFIC) AND APPENDIX A OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br /> PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA FOR THE PURPOSE OF MODIFYING <br /> REQUIREMENTS AND FEES PERTAINING TO ON-STREET PAID PARKING <br /> AND PARKING IN CITY OR PARKING AUTHORITY LOTS AND GARAGES. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> 1. That Article IX of Chapter 22 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br /> Virginia is amended by modifying Division 2 (Parking Meters Generally) and Division 3 <br /> (Metered Parking Lots) and deleting Division 4 (Unmetered Parking Lots and Garages). <br /> 2. That Appendix A of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) is <br /> amended as shown on Exhibit A to modify the fees for parking. <br /> 3. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2026. <br /> ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br /> on June 23, 2026. <br /> Teste: <br /> City Clerk <br />
