ORDINANCE NO. 2025-14 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />PROGRAM INCOME IN THE AMOUNT OF $89,840 AND HOME INVESTMENT <br />PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM INCOME IN THE AMOUNT OF $24,844.49 AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNTS IN THE FY 2025 COMMUNITY PLANNING AND <br />DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FUND. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it accepts Community Development Block Grant program income in the <br />amount of $89,840 and HOME Investment Partnerships program income in the amount of <br />$24,844.49 and appropriates said amounts in the FY 2025 Community Planning and Development <br />Program Fund. <br />2. That the funds so appropriated shall be used to support the activities in the existing <br />Annual Action Plan. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2025 Community Planning and <br />Development Program Fund Budget are increased by $114,684.49. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on <br />February 25, 2025. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
