ORDINANCE NO. 2025-102 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MISCELLANEOUS REVENUE IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $6,000 TO THE JUDICIAL SECTION OF THE FY 2026 <br />GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR THE PAYMENT OF ONE-TIME PERSONNEL <br />BONUSES TO CIRCUIT COURT JUDICIAL ASSISTANTS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it appropriates Miscellaneous Revenue in the amount of $6,000 to the <br />Judicial section of the FY 2026 General Fund Budget. <br />2. That the funds shall be used to pay a bonus to the assistant for each of the <br />four Circuit Court Judges. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the Judicial section of the FY <br />2026 General Fund Budget are increased by $6,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 25, 2025. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
