EXHIBIT A Appendix A of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) is amended as follows. Portions of Appendix A not shown below are not hereby amended. CHAPTER 38. WATER, SEWERS AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL Code Description Section 38-83 Meter rates for water supplied ';For all water that passes through meters, customers within the corporate limits of the city shall pay $5.71 per 100 cubic feet of water supplied 38- during the period from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; and annual 83(a) increases of five percent over the rate in effect at the end of the prior fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and each July 1 thereafter, until amended. For all water which passes through meters, customers of the City of Chesapeake who are served by Portsmouth and whose rates are not set by 38- contract shall pay $8.59 per 100 cubic feet of water supplied during the 83(b) ;period from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; and annual increases of five percent over the rate in effect at the end of the prior fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and each July 1 thereafter, until amended. ,For all water which passes through meters to the City of Suffolk pursuant to contract, the City of Suffolk shall pay $5.32 per 100 cubic feet of water 38- L supplied during the period from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; and 83(d) annual increases of five percent over the rate in effect at the end of the prior fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and each July 1 thereafter, until amended or as otherwise established by written contract. 38-117 !Sewer service rates: :,Charges for the disposal of sewage discharged into the city system will be 1 based upon the water delivered to the premises as measured by meters used for this purpose at the rate of $4.49 per 100 cubic feet during the 38 period from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; and annual increases of 117(a) five percent over the rate in effect at the end of the prior fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and each July 1 thereafter, until amended.
