Federal Public Policy Statements (items to be included in this section): <br />Support: <br />• PFAs litigation with Municipal Liability Protection <br />• Protect and Retain Tax Exempt Municipal Bonds <br />• Protect and Retain the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br />• Predictable and Flexible Federal Funding: <br />o Support federal funding mechanisms that provide predictable, long-term <br />funding streams <br />o Pursuing a targeted and deliberative process to reform federal processes <br />and regulations <br />• Continue full funding of the COPS, AFG, SAFER, and State Homeland Security <br />Grant Programs <br />• Full funding for Ground Emergency Medical Transportation (GEMT) <br />• Ensure full funding of the State Revolving Loan Fund <br />• Preserve and Enhance Affordable Housing Programs <br />Oppose: <br />• Any reduction in funding or elimination of any U.S. Dept of Education programs <br />• Any reduction in funding or elimination of any U.S. Housing and Urban <br />Development (HUD) programs, to include: <br />o The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br />o The HOME program <br />o The Section 8 programs <br />• Any decrease in funding for public transit programs <br />• Elimination of the Brownfields Revitalization Tax Credits <br />• Elimination of funding, or any funding cuts to FEMA and all disaster mitigation <br />programs <br />• Any Unfunded federal mandates <br />
