ORDINANCE NO. 2024-66 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,416 FROM <br />THE PORTSMOUTH GENERAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2025 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES TO PURCHASE AND INSTALL <br />TWO VITAL SIGN STATIONS, ASSOCIATED PROBES, AND WALL -MOUNTING <br />HARDWARE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it accepts grant funding in the amount of $2,416 from the Portsmouth General <br />Hospital Foundation and appropriates said amount in the FY 2025 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds so appropriated shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />Emergency Services to purchase and install two vital sign stations, associated probes, and wall - <br />mounting hardware. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2025 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $2,416. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on July <br />23, 2024. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
