ORDINANCE NO.2024-59 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING WITH APPRECIATION A DONATION IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $100 FROM NATIONAL DRIFTERS, INCORPORATED AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT TO THE FY 2025 SOCIAL SERVICES FUND <br />BUDGET FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES FOR THE <br />FOOD PANTRY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts with appreciation a donation in the amount of $100 <br />from National Drifters, Incorporated and appropriates said amount to the FY 2025 Social <br />Services Fund Budget. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Social Services for the <br />Food Pantry. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2025 Social Services <br />Fund Budget are increased by $100. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2024. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 25, 2024. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
