Subsection 40.2- 303(4)(a) of the City Code is amended as follows. <br />Sec. 40.2 -303. Bicycle Parking. <br />(A) Bicycle Parking. Bicycle parking is intended to primarily serve visitors, whose <br />bicycles will be left for short stops, requiring a high degree of convenience. <br />(4) All provided bicycle parking shall comply with the following standards: <br />(a) At least 50 percent of the required bicycle parking shall be located as <br />close as the closest vehicular parking space or within 50 feet of a <br />publicly accessible entrance to the building or buildings containing the <br />use or uses it serves, whichever is greater. <br />23. Subsection 40.2- 301(F) of the City Code is amended as follows. <br />Sec. 40.2 -301. Off - Street Parking, Loading, Circulation. <br />F. Off- Street Parking Alternatives. The Zoning Administrator shall be authorized <br />to approve, approve with conditions, or deny an Alternative Parking Plan that <br />proposes alternatives to providing the number of required off - street parking <br />spaces and /or the number of required bicycle spaces required by Table 40.2- <br />301(1) Minimum Off- Street Parking Standards in accordance with the standards <br />listed below. The Alternative Parking Plan shall be submitted as appropriate. <br />13 <br />
