4. Subsection 40.2- 304(G)(2)(b) of the City Code is amended by adding a new <br />subsection (iii) as follows. <br />Sec. 40.2 -304. Landscaping and Screening. <br />(G) Site Landscaping. <br />(2) Applicability. <br />(b) Exemptions. The following developments are exempt from the site <br />landscaping requirements. <br />(i) Single - family detached dwellings. <br />(ii) Two - family dwellings =; and <br />(iii) Development in the Downtown D 1 sub - districts T4, T5, and T6 if <br />the building fagade is less than five (5) feet from the property line. <br />5. Table 40.2 - 307(3) of the City Code is amended as follows. <br />TABLE 40.2 - 307(3): MAXIMUM TOTAL SIGN AREA PER LOT FOR PERMANENT SIGNS <br />"s£" = square feet; "ft." = feet <br />MAXIMUM TOTAL SIGN AREA PER ADDITIONAL SIGN ADDITIONAL SIGN <br />ZONING LOT FOR ATTACHED AND AREA AREA <br />DISTRICT FREESTANDING SIGNS (EXCLUDING RESTRICTIONS RESTRICTIONS FOR <br />WINDOW SIGNS) FOR ATTACHED FREESTANDING <br />SIGNS SIGNS <br />10% of the area of the front <br />building fagade or 1 sf. for every 1 <br />linear ft. of street frontage of the <br />DI lot, whichever is greater, provided <br />no sign located on a lot having less <br />than 40 linear ft. of street frontage <br />shall have a sign area in excess of <br />40 sf. <br />I <br />Signs in the DD <br />None Overlay District <br />shall comply with <br />DDC guidelines. <br />
