AN ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THAT PORTION OF MCLEAN <br />STREET BETWEEN AIRLINE BOULEVARD AND GREENWOOD DRIVE TO <br />"MISSY ELLIOTT BOULEVARD ". <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That the portion of McLean Street between Airline Boulevard and Greenwood <br />Drive be renamed and known as Missy Elliott Boulevard. <br />2. That all portions of McLean Street not located between Airline Boulevard and <br />Greenwood Drive are not hereby renamed and shall continue to be known as McLean Street. <br />3. That the applicant shall pay the direct costs for fabrication and installation of new <br />street signs required by the name change in accordance with Section 33.1 -55 and Appendix A of <br />the City Code. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on <br />August 9, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
