22 -51 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING WITH APPRECIATION A DONATION BY <br />TABERNACLE CHURCH IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000 AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID FUNDS TO THE FY 2023 SOCIAL SERVICES FUND FOR USE BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE FOOD PANTRY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />I . That it hereby accepts with appreciation a donation of $1,000 from <br />Tabernacle Church and appropriates said funds to the FY 2023 Social Services Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall he used by the Department of Social Services <br />to support the Food Pantry. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Social Services <br />Fund Budget are increased by $1,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2022. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 28, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
