ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH THE NAME OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD PARK AT <br />2715 BAGLEY STREET THE "WILSON WARD /GOSPORT MEDITATION GARDEN ". <br />WHEREAS, the City and the Wilson Ward /Gosport Civic League have worked together <br />to develop a park at 2715 Bagley Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the Civic League has requested that the park be named the Wilson <br />Ward/Gosport Meditation Garden; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission voted unanimously in favor of <br />naming the park the Wilson Ward /Gosport Meditation Garden; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia that the name of the park located at 2715 Bagley Street shall be "Wilson Ward /Gosport <br />Meditation Garden ". <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on May <br />24, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
