ODN E 0 2 0 2 2- 91 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AID -TO- LOCALITIES FUNDING IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $392,845 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF FIRE <br />PROGRAMS AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT TO THE FY 2023 <br />GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND <br />EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it accepts Aid -To- Localities funding in the amount of $392,845 from <br />the Virginia Department of Fire Programs and appropriates said amount in the FY 2023 <br />Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />Emergency Services for authorized uses benefiting Suppression personnel. <br />3. That no local match is required for the funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $392,845. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 25, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
