3 <br />-89 <br />q <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY <br />PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $700 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2023 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it accepts Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program funding in <br />the amount of $700 from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management and <br />appropriates said amount in the FY 2023 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />Emergency Services for training and the purchase of equipment. <br />3. That no local match is required for the funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $700. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 11, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
