022 -84 <br />rt �a <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMERGENCY <br />RESPONSE TEAM COST RECOVERY FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$1,153.14 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY <br />MANAGEMENT AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2023 GRANTS <br />FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND <br />EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team <br />Cost Recovery funding in the amount of $1,153.14 and appropriates said sum in the FY <br />2023 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />Emergency Services for the Southside Regional Hazardous Materials Team. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $1,153.14. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 27, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
