-Ai" �I F 21922 -79 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING PROJECTS FOR ASSISTANCE IN <br />TRANSITION FROM HOMELESSNESS FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$58,388 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH <br />AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN <br />THE FY 2023 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICE FUND FOR <br />TRAINING, TRAVEL AND OUTREACH SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Projects for Assistance in Transition from <br />Homelessness (PATH) funding in the amount of $58,388 from the Virginia Department <br />of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and appropriates said amount in the <br />FY 2023 Behavioral Healthcare Service Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to provide training, travel and outreach services in furtherance of the PATH <br />program. <br />3. That no additional local funding is required. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2023 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund Budget are increased by $58,388. <br />That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 13, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
