oaDIwaHCE NO. __ 10 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A CIRCUIT COURT RECORDS <br />PRESERVATION PROGRAM GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $46,069.52 FROM <br />THE LIBRARY OF VIRGINIA AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE <br />FY 2022 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE CIRCUIT COURT CLERK'S <br />OFFICE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a Circuit Court Records Preservation Program <br />Grant in the amount of $46,069.52 from the Library of Virginia and appropriates said <br />funds in the FY 2022 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Circuit Court Clerk's Office for record <br />preservation activities. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2022 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $46,069.52. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on February 8, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
