ORDINC NO. 202 . <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING STATE OPIOID RESPONSE GRANT FUNDING <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $385,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2022 BEHAVIORAI. HEALTHCARE <br />SERVICES FUND FOR SUBSTANCE USE SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts State Opioid Response (II) funding in the amount of <br />$385,000 from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental <br />Services and appropriates said funds in the FY 2022 Behavioral Healthcare Services <br />Fund. <br />2 That the appropriation shall be used by the Portsmouth Department of <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services for substance use services. <br />3. That no local match is required as it condition of the funding except as <br />may he provided in the Community Services Performance Contract with the <br />Commonwealth approved by City Council Resolution R -21 -22 adopted on August 10, <br />2021. Any required local match has previously been appropriated as part of the FY 2022 <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund Budget. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2022 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund Budget are increased by S385,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a nieetin�L, held <br />on January 11, 2022. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
