POWMW jjt!t,1- 41 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 10 -108 AND SECTION 10 -112 OF <br />CHAPTER 10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA <br />TO FORMALLY CHANGE THE NAME OF VOTING PRECINCT NUMBER 25 <br />TO "WATERVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL" AND TO FORMALLY <br />CHANGE THE NAME OF VOTING PRECINCT NUMBER 29 TO "MANOR <br />HIGH SCHOOL ". <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That Section 10 -108 of Chapter 10 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia (2006) be amended and reordained as follows: <br />Sec. 10 -108. Precinct No. 25. <br />The voting place for Precinct No. 25 shall be at the Waterview <br />Elementary School at 3649 Hartford Street. <br />2. That the name of Precinct No. 25 is hereby formally designated as <br />"Waterview Elementary School ". <br />3. That Section 10 -112 of Chapter 10 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia (2006) be amended and reordained as follows: <br />Sec. 10 -112. Precinct No. 29. <br />The voting place for Precinct No. 29 shall be Manor High <br />School at 1401 Elmhurst Lane. <br />4. That the name of Precinct No. 29 is formally designated as "Manor High <br />School ". <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2021. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at an electronic <br />meeting held on June 8, 2021. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
