ORUAIAM�F '? „^ <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT FUNDING FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN <br />DEVELOPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,783 AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />SUM IN THE FY 2022 COMMUNITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT FUND <br />FOR USE IN IMPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL ACTION PLAN. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Community Development Block Grant funding <br />from the Department of Housing and Urban Development in the amount of $23,783 and <br />appropriates said sum in the FY 2022 Community Planning and Development Fund <br />Budget. <br />2. That the funds so appropriated shall be used to support the activities in the <br />existing Annual Action Plan. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2022 Community <br />Planning and Development Fund Budget are increased by $23,783. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2021. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at an electronic <br />meeting held on June 8, 2021. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
