nR � 02� -35 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING WITH APPRECIATION A DONATION IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $150 FROM DRIFTERS INC. AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />FUNDS TO THE FY 2021 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF SOCIAL SERVICES TO SUPPORT OPERATIONS OF THE SERVICES <br />INTAKE UNIT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts with appreciation a donation of $150 from Drifters <br />Inc. and appropriates said funds to the FY 2021 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Social Services <br />to support foster care families. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2021 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $150. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at an electronic <br />meeting held on May 25, 2021. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
