R -21 -22 <br />A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE FY 2022/FY 2023 COMMUNITY <br />SERVICES PERFORMANCE CONTRACT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES. <br />WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental <br />Services annually or biennially issues a performance contract to each local community <br />services board (CSB) specifying the services to be rendered by the Department of <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services for the next fiscal year relative to funding budgeted; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth must approve the Portsmouth Department of <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services' FY 20221FY 2023 Community Services Performance <br />Contract in order to receive funding from the Commonwealth; and <br />WHEREAS, a local match of 5809,254 is required as a condition of receiving <br />funding for FY 2022 under the Community Services Performance Contract, which match <br />has been previously appropriated in the FY 2022 Portsmouth Department of Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services budget; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia that it hereby approves the Portsmouth Department of Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services' FY 2022/FY 2023 Community Services Performance Contract. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 10, 2021. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
