ORDINANCE 2020-44 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING WITH APPRECIATION A DONATION OF <br />$1,500 FROM ENVIVA HOLDINGS AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS TO <br />THE FY 2020 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL <br />SERVICES TO SUPPORT OPERATIONS OF THE SERVICES INTAKE UNIT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts with appreciation a donation of $1,500 from Enviva <br />Holdings and appropriates said funds to the FY 2020 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Social Services <br />to support operations of the Services Intake Unit. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by 51,500. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on May 26, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
