0��INAIN� X41 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA TOURISM CORPORATION AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT INTO THE FY 2020 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF MUSEUMS FOR THE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF <br />VIRGINIA. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it accepts funds in the amount of $100,000 from the Virginia <br />Tourism Corporation and appropriates said funds into the FY 2020 Grants Fund for use <br />by the Department of Museums for the Children's Museum of Virginia. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used for a marketing campaign to promote <br />the 401h anniversary of the Children's Museum. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $100,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on May 26, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
