IJ9� ` " "wG:S <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING EDUCATION AND TRAINING VOUCHER <br />FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,452 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT <br />OF SOCIAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2021 <br />SOCIAL SERVICES FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL <br />SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Education and Training Voucher funds in the <br />amount of $4,452 from the Virginia Department of Social Services and appropriates said <br />sum in the FY 2021 Social Services Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Social Services for <br />assisting eligible youths with expenses associated with college and vocational programs. <br />3. That no local match is required for the funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2021 Social Services <br />Fund Budget are increased by $4,452. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at an electronic <br />meeting held on November 10, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
