AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMERGENCY <br />RESPONSE TEAM COST RECOVERY FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,005.58 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2021 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team <br />Cost Recovery funds in the amount of $1,005.58 from the Virginia Department of <br />Emergency Management and appropriates said sum in the FY 2021 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />3. That no local match is required for the funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2021 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $1,005.58. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at an electronic <br />meeting held on October 27, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
