AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING STATE OPIOID RESPONSE II FUNDING IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $410,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2021 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF BHS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts State Opioid Response II funding in the amount of <br />$410,000 from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental <br />Services and appropriates said sum in the FY 2021 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Behavioral <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2021 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $410,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at an electronic <br />meeting held on October 27, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
