AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $160,000 <br />FROM THE OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF THE SUPREME <br />COURT OF VIRGINIA AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2021 <br />GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT COURT FOR <br />THE PORTSMOUTH ADULT DRUG TREATMENT COURT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $160,000 from the Office <br />of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia and appropriates said funds <br />in the FY 2021 Grants Fund for use by the Third Judicial Circuit Court for the <br />Portsmouth Adult Drug Treatment Court. <br />That no City cash match is required for the grant. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2021 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $160,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at an electronic <br />meeting held on October 13, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
