ORMNAMM M,2,020-56 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING WITH APPRECIATION A DONATION OF $100 <br />FROM GARLAND ABBOTT III AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS TO THE <br />FY 2020 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL <br />SERVICES TO SUPPORT OPERATIONS OF THE SERVICES INTAKE UNIT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts with appreciation a donation of $100 from Garland <br />Abbott III and appropriates said funds to the FY 2020 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Social Services <br />to support operations of the Services Intake Unit. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $100. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 23, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
