ORDIHAt 2020 -52' <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY <br />SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING PROGRAM FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$251,760 AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2020 GRANTS <br />FUND FOR USE BY THE CITY FOR THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND <br />SERVICES TO COUNTERACT COVID -19. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding <br />Program funds in the amount of $251,760 and appropriates said amount in the FY 2020 <br />Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the City for the purchase of equipment and <br />services to counteract COVID -19. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $251,760 <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 23, 2020. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
