.20_, -x„101 <br />ORBINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM THE ELIZABETH <br />RIVER PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,612.52 AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID FUNDS IN THE PARADISE CREEK NATURE PARK PROJECT LINE <br />ITEM IN THE FY 2020 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BUDGET FOR USE <br />BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION & TOURISM FOR THE <br />CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATURE PARK. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a donation in the amount of $31,612.52 from the <br />Elizabeth River Project and appropriates said funds in the Paradise Creek Nature Park <br />Project line item in the FY 2020 Capital Improvement Fund Budget. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Parks, <br />Recreation & Tourism for the continued development of the Paradise Creek Nature Park. <br />3. That no match is required for the grant funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the Paradise Creek Nature <br />Park line item in the FY 2020 Capital Improvement Fund budget are increased by <br />$31,612.52. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on December 10, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
