O011'�111 \Mi NO 019-99 <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE PORTSMOUTH <br />PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION, CHERRY CARPET, HANSEL UNION <br />CONSULTING, AND TOTAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$1,000 AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS TO THE FY 2020 GRANTS FUND <br />FOR USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR HEALTH <br />AND WELLNESS TRAINING. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant from the Portsmouth Partnership <br />Foundation, Cherry Carpet, Hansel Union Consulting, and Total Business Solutions in <br />the amount of $1,000 and appropriates said funds to the FY 2020 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation Shall be used by the Portsmouth Police Department <br />for Health and Wellness Training. <br />That no match is required for the grant funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $1,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 26, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
