Sections of A rticle IV, Article V and Article XI of Chapter <br />32 not shown hereon are not hereby amended. <br />ARTICLE IV. — STREET POLES <br />Sec. 32 -125. — Definitions. <br />The <br />following <br />words <br />and terms <br />shall, <br />for the <br />purposes <br />of this <br />article, have the <br />following <br />respective <br />meanings, <br />except <br />where <br />the <br />context clearly <br />indicates <br />traffic signal <br />a different meaning: <br />and structures. <br />Co- locate means <br />Antenna <br />mount <br />means communications <br />modify. operate, <br />equipment <br />a wireless <br />that transmits <br />on. under. <br />or receives electromagnetic <br />radio <br />signals used <br />station. building. <br />in the provision <br />of <br />any type <br />of wireless <br />communications <br />r ure. "Co- <br />Existing structure <br />services. <br />has <br />any structure <br />Base <br />station <br />means <br />a station <br />that <br />includes a <br />structure <br />that <br />currently supports <br />or houses an <br />antenna <br />transceiver. <br />coaxial <br />cables, <br />power <br />cables. <br />or other <br />associated <br />equipment <br />at a specific <br />site that <br />is authorized <br />to <br />communicate <br />any structure <br />with mobile <br />stations <br />generally <br />consisting <br />of radio <br />transceivers <br />support. <br />antennas coaxial <br />capable of supporting <br />cables <br />power supplies <br />and <br />other <br />associated electronics <br />towers, buildings. <br />City engineer means the City Engineer or his designee. <br />nv, not longer than 11 inch <br />New city facility or new wireless support structure means a city facility or wireless support <br />structure of the type described herein that has not been installed or constructed, or approved <br />for installation or construction, at the time a wireless services provider or wireless infrastructure <br />provider applies to a locality for any required zoning approval. <br />Non -small cell facility means a wireless facility which is not a small cell facility. <br />Pole means a utility pole. wireless support structure or similar structure located in the public <br />streets or public way. <br />Public street means the surface of and the space above and below any public street, road, <br />highway. avenue, sidewalk. way, bridge, viaduct. alley or other public right -of -way. including non - <br />paved surfaces, now or hereafter held by the city for the purpose of public travel . <br />communications, alarm, street lighting power distribution water or sewer easements or similar <br />public use. <br />City facilities means <br />city <br />-owned <br />existing structures <br />located within <br />the <br />public way. <br />City <br />facilities <br />may include. <br />by means <br />of <br />example, city -owned <br />light poles <br />and city <br />-owned <br />traffic signal <br />poles <br />and structures. <br />Co- locate means <br />to install. <br />mount <br />maintain. <br />modify. operate, <br />or replace <br />a wireless <br />facility <br />on. under. <br />within, or adjacent <br />to a base <br />station. building. <br />existing structure, <br />utility pole. <br />or wireless <br />support <br />r ure. "Co- <br />Existing structure <br />location" <br />means <br />has <br />any structure <br />a corresponding meaning. <br />within a public way that <br />is installed <br />or approved <br />for <br />installation <br />at the time <br />a wireless services <br />provider <br />or wireless infrastructure <br />provider <br />provides <br />notice <br />to the city of an <br />agreement <br />with the owner <br />of the structure to <br />co- locate <br />equipment <br />on that <br />structure. <br />"Existing structure" <br />includes <br />any structure <br />that is within a <br />public <br />way that <br />is currently <br />supporting- <br />designed to <br />support. <br />or <br />capable of supporting <br />the attachment <br />of wireless <br />facilities. <br />including <br />towers, buildings. <br />utility poles <br />light poles. <br />flag poles. signs. <br />and <br />water towers. <br />Micro - wireless facility <br />means a <br />small cell facility <br />that is not larger <br />in dimension <br />than 24 <br />inches <br />in lenath. 15 inches <br />in width. <br />and 12 inches <br />in heiaht and that <br />has <br />an exterior <br />antenna if <br />nv, not longer than 11 inch <br />New city facility or new wireless support structure means a city facility or wireless support <br />structure of the type described herein that has not been installed or constructed, or approved <br />for installation or construction, at the time a wireless services provider or wireless infrastructure <br />provider applies to a locality for any required zoning approval. <br />Non -small cell facility means a wireless facility which is not a small cell facility. <br />Pole means a utility pole. wireless support structure or similar structure located in the public <br />streets or public way. <br />Public street means the surface of and the space above and below any public street, road, <br />highway. avenue, sidewalk. way, bridge, viaduct. alley or other public right -of -way. including non - <br />paved surfaces, now or hereafter held by the city for the purpose of public travel . <br />communications, alarm, street lighting power distribution water or sewer easements or similar <br />public use. <br />
