2 <br />OR� .2 019 -75 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN CHAPTER 32 OF THE CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006) BY AMENDING <br />ARTICLE IV (STREET POLES), ARTICLE V (UNDERGROUND WIRES) AND <br />ARTICLE XI (WIRELESS FACILITIES) THEREOF FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />COMPLYING WITH FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS <br />REGARDING WIRELESS FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That Article IV (Street Poles) of Chapter 32 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) is hereby amended and reordained as provided on Exhibit A <br />hereto. <br />2. That Article V (Underground Wires) of Chapter 32 of the Code of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) is hereby amended and reordained as provided on Exhibit <br />A hereto. <br />3. That Article XI (Wireless Facilities) of Chapter 32 of the Code of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) is hereby amended and reordained as provided on Exhibit <br />A hereto. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting <br />held on October 22, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
