dq0WW IL2019-56 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A REFUND OF THE CITY'S FY 2019 LOCAL <br />SHARE PAYMENT FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $51,321 AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE <br />CONTRACTUAL OTHER — HEALTH DEPARTMENT LINE ITEM OF THE FY <br />2020 GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING A <br />PORTION OF THE CITY'S FY 2020 LOCAL SHARE OBLIGATION FOR THE <br />OPERATION OF THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a refund of the City's FY 2019 Local Share <br />Payment from the Virginia Department of Health and appropriates said amount in the <br />Contractual Other — Health Department line item of the FY 2020 General Fund Budget. <br />2. That the funds shall be used for the purpose of funding a portion of the <br />City's FY 2020 Local Share obligation for operation of the Health Department. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the Contractual Other — <br />Health Department line item of the FY 2020 General Fund Budget are increased by <br />$51,321. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 27, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
