{{�� - <br />IJRM IL1.0-119 53 .- . <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FOUR- FOR -LIFE PROGRAM GRANT FUNDS <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $76,402.56 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />HEALTH, OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2020 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $76,402.56 from the <br />Virginia Department of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services and appropriates <br />said funds in the FY 2020 Grants Fund for use by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />Emergency Services for equipment, supplies and/or training related to emergency <br />medical services. <br />2. That no City cash match is required for the grant. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $76,402.56. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 23, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
