IRDINAtICE 51 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING STEP -VA FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$195,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH <br />AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN <br />THE FY 2020 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND FOR USE BY <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF BHS TO PROVIDE AND COORDINATE OUTPATIENT <br />SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts STEP -VA funding in the amount of $195,000 from <br />the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and <br />appropriates said funds in the FY 2020 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to provide and coordinate outpatient services. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund Budget are increased by $195,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 9, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
